ITL Be Your Favorite Class!
At High Meadows, the library is home to Information and Technology Literacy instruction in addition to supporting classroom curriculum, student research, and independent reading. Librarians and Technology Integration Specialists work together to teach classes for kindergarten through fifth grade. The students visit the library each week for an hour of information and literacy instruction. Middle Years students come to the library in the fall to develop research and technology study skills. Preschool classes visit the library each week for story time with a librarian. All classes are able to schedule additional time in the library as needed and students are welcome throughout the day to work independently. |
